Come and discover this wonderful provençal home set in the ‘Roquemalière’ foothills of the southern ‘Luberon’ mountain range. ‘La roquemaliere’, is located just one kilometre away from the beautiful village of ‘Mérindol’ which is the historical capital of the ‘Vaudois population’. Mireille and J.P will give you a warm and friendly welcome to their home, set in a beautiful wooded area of oak and pine trees, mingled with those oh! so famous provençal perfumes, where you can be lulled by the cicada and the chirping of crickets.
Perhaps you may chose to relax in the swimming pool where you can choose either the sun or shaded end to help you unwind, and then maybe during the evening, a game of petanque under the oak trees as you enjoy the complimentary drink offered by your hosts.
After an excellent nights sleep, a hearty continental breakfast including sweet pastries, bread, homemade jams, along with coffee, tea, hot or cold chocolate
will be served to you on the terrace shaded by trees, as you enjoy the wonderful view of the ‘Luberon’ mountain range and forest.
To help you to plan your stay Mireille has an assortment of maps and books of the area available for you to consult as you relax in the air conditioned veranda, or if you prefer, why not ask J.P. who will be only too pleased to offer advice on what to do, or where to go.
If the weather will not permit dining ‘al fresco’ on the terrace then, you will share your evening meal with your hosts, in this traditional provençal dining room.
